A few months ago a member of our community sent me an article about a new book (I don’t know the name), that talks of new research that challenges the idea that our survival through time was based on survival of the fittest. Instead the research suggests, that the contrary is true. That literally, Generosity and Community are the things that enabled us to survive and thrive through time. The research goes on to show that Generosity and Community are not only practical, but also good for our health, on every level. So with scientific evidence in mind, Please Help us All be Healthier by making a Request, ask for something, and give something to another. “THE ARMY OF THE NIGHT” we are You.

Here is how it works, each week; we each read the Torah portion for that week on our own. Please go to

Then read Bechukotai three times. Once You have read it once then think about it, maybe do something else, and then read it again, and then again to find what it truly means to You, searching Your heart for it, listen for it, and write it. Imagine the Torah portion is unfinished waiting for You, like an unfinished sentence, What would You add to it, and Why? It can be ideas, stories, experiences, strange events, changes in philosophy, etc. You decide. Then on Monday we will gather, and listen, and share our Torah with each other.
