My name is Theo Kisch, and I, and my paintings invented, Essencedating.com. A number of years ago I started trying to focus my life around the idea of living an ecstatic life, the seeing of G-d in every moment. To see my life as a circle, my life effecting my paintings, and my paintings influencing my life. I became very interested in the idea of everything working out for the best, in every situation. This made me ask a lot of questions to myself about my painting. What is Art? And what is its true value?

To me Art, and creativity, are reflections of the human spirit. Art is about all of our communal greatness, and our struggles to stand tall, live our dreams, and be our true, beautiful, brilliant, selves. Art is also and interestingly, about our failings, and our learning's from them. Art is about all of our spirits; it reminds us of who we are, and who we can be. Art is a public declaration, a statement of support, for all of us, that we can do it, we are almost there, and good for us. Or at least that is what Art can be, if it wants to, and boy does mine want to, so it is, and like that I knew that my paintings, my children, had to do more than just hang on a wall. I needed to teach them to reach out, to be open and honest but most of all, full of love, and they needed to teach me. They needed to be of service, and I needed to be of service. As I started more and more to approach the creative process from this intention, the results became more and more satisfying, and before long I found myself asking how should I show these new paintings? Where would I show them? How will they go out into the world? What could they do, too help create community?

I realized that for me, most everything flows from community, and our relationship to it. I began to think if my paintings could in any way, help me and you, see even a little more beauty in ourselves, and beauty in another. If they could help start friendships in any way, if they could help beautiful souls find each other, and see that we don't have to feel alone, that the imperfect beauty that is each of us, is perfection, and Love it, then that is the life I want for my paintings, and that, is when Essencedating.com was born, as an idea, and the bigness of this idea is why I have spent the last three years, actively designing, building, and conceiving, her.

My paintings, my children, equal creators with me, of Essencedating.com are about our Jewish search, for how to live an ecstatic life. My paintings are filled with struggle, and failure, they have faith and love as key elements, and triumph is always there, just beneath the surface. Elements that if talked about openly, can bring all of use closer, and lift us all higher. That is what Essencedating.com can do, and it learned, and I learned it, from my paintings, which is why they are so central to the game, and how they are equal creators with me of Essencedating.com, of course nothing is possible without the will, of G-d, and I am very grateful.
